Charley Chandler
He was a preacher in the biggest church in the small town of Shireton, had a beautiful wife, and a baby on the way. Charley had it all.
But that all changed when his wife took some poisoned prenatal vitamins. Charley came home to find her dead on the floor.
The elders in his church threw him out in a political move, citing that a single man shouldn’t be the leader of such a large church. He sold his house and moved to the closest big city, Bronswick.
He became a drunk, having his car towed and sold at the city auction after three DUIs. He holed up in the ExtendedStay America, taking temp jobs to keep himself in rent, booze, and cigarrettes.
But then, a chance encounter in a parking garage sets off a wild chain of events that involves vampires, aliens, and demons in a variety of shapes and sizes.
All Charley ever wanted was a normal life. Too bad he’s not normal.
